Welcome to Artfull Expression. For more than twenty years we have provided a showcase for contemporary
designer-makers of silver and other jewellery in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

We also feature the work of designer-makers of clocks, mirrors and ceramics, and of artists producing
small bronzes, prints and paintings. We also have a selection of greetings cards.

Six of our designer-maker jewellers have their workshops upstairs in the building. There are also two
jewellery repairers, an engraver and a gem-setter. We also make custom-made jewellery to your own designs.
Artfull Expression is in a grade 2 listed factory building of 1905, built reputedly on the site of James
Watts’s garden - the association with metal-work of one sort or another is a long one!

In December 2009, ‘Art at Artfull’ was set up to develop our ability to display paintings, prints,
bronzes, photography etc. Before then lack of suitable wall-space restricted displaying artwork.
We intend to hold a new exhibition every month, beginning each one with a preview ‘meet the
artist(s)’ evening. Please contact us if you would like to exhibit your work.
